the best way to go to Monterosso is to take local
trains from La Spezia or Genoa or Intercity trains from
Milan, Rome, Turin and Tuscany. Using the train is definitely
the best option to get there. The train network reaches
the other villages of Cinque Terre as well.
Parking are very expensive (about 18 euro per day) and they
waste the beautiful
landscape that surrounds the place. Then driving through
town centers and other areas is prohibited. So come by train
and help Monterosso to keep safe its territory.
